HolonymsRelated termsFrom Wiktionary under the GNU Free Documentation License. An ingredient is a substance that forms part of a mixture (in a general sense). For example, in cooking, recipes specify which ingredients are used to prepare a specific dish. Many commercial products contain a secret ingredient that is purported to make them better than competing products. In the pharmaceutical industry, an active ingredient is that part of a formulation that yields the effect required by the customer. National laws usually require prepared food products to display a list of ingredients, and specifically require that certain additives be listed. In most developed countries, the law requires that ingredients be listed according to their relative quantity in the product. If an ingredient itself consists of more than one ingredient (such as the cookie pieces which are a part of "cookies and cream" flavor ice cream), then that ingredient is listed by what percentage of the total product it occupies, with its own ingredients displayed next to it in brackets. What ingredient/s makes it also a good method? Asked by Charles N - Sun Dec 7 06:46:46 2008 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments A. It is just wax, the wax is spread on warm allowed to harden and grasp the hairs, when it's pulled off it removes the hair from the follicle, this process can inhibit hair growth anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks depending on your hair growth. It can be painful the first time or two but generally it gets better and well worth it imo. Answered by Koko - Sun Dec 7 07:45:08 2008 How much of the active ingredient is in an antacid tablet? Q. Q. Is it cancerous? My high school teacher told us that studies have proven the dangers of this ingredient , that it can cause cancer. That would be in the 48hr protection product , but not most of the other under arm deodorant. So just read the labels on both sides or all the way around before you buy it and use it on your body , please. Thank you for being kind to yourself.
