Can we turn left at intersection when school bus is stopped with red lights and its back cleared intersection?
Q. This is in US state of Tennessee. The school bus is stopped to load students with stop arm extended. But, its pick up point is just after clearing intersection. Just to make it clear.. Taking a left at such intersection will lead us away from the school bus. To make it even more clear, this is when bus is going away from the intersection and it is stopped on our right side road

A. Perfectly legal. The law states that you cannot pass the bus. By making that turn before you get to the bus, you're not passing it.

A. well put them in slope intercept form (y=mx+b). so y=x+4 and y=1/3x+(8/3). put them on ur graph and figure out where they intercept. if u have a graphing calc itll be easier! itll be close to (9/2, 1) or so. if u need more help, email me.

A. The union is all the elements that appear in either or both sets: A = L U H = {-4, 1, 2, 4, -5, 3} Note that I didn't bother writing 2 and 4 twice. That's because in math, the set {1,1} is considered to be the same as the set {1}, but by convention we never write elements twice. I also didn't bother ordering the elements, because, again, by convention, in sets, order doesn't matter...that is, {1,2,3} = {3,2,1}. Your teacher, however, might like you if you put the numbers in order... {-5, -4, 1, 2, 3, 4}. It's the same set tho'. Now for intersection - those are elements that appear in BOTH sets. The only elements that do that are 2 and 4, so B = L intersect H = {2,4}
