What would Obama do if Iran launched a nuclear attack on Israel?
Q. Considering the President of Iran denies the Holocaust ever occurred and wants to wipe Israel off the face of the map. Question: Obviously you're not Jewish. And you seem very hateful for being a Democrat. I guess you would love for Israel to drop off the face of the earth. Amazing that you consider yourself a Democrat.

A. Obama has indicated that he will not do a thing, but after Iran has nuked Israel he may attack Iran. President Obama's about face regarding the relationship between the U.S. and Israel is disturbing, to say the least. Mr. Obama has made a total reversal of American policy and now favors the despotic Muslim regimes over the Israeli democracy. Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu had a meeting recently with President Obama. The following threats are what Mr. Netanyahu heard from Mr. Obama: 1.Withdrawal of U.S. support at the UN. 2.Preventing Israel from using their GPS, which is needed to guide Israeli missiles, aircraft and tanks. 3.Cancellation of 3 billion dollars in annual grants. 4.Barring Israel from using American ammunition… [cont.]

Does Iran and others have the right to defend themselves?
Q. IF Isreal has the right to attack another country for its own security does that mean Iran can attack Isreal for its own security? Since (prior to the president claiming Isreal should be wiped off the map) ISreal hinted at having a nuclear detterant at iran, and claiming Iran is a threat. Since Isreal and USA attacked Iraq for its "Security" Does that mean Iran has a right to attack Isreal if Isreal is a threat to Iranian security? ...also if Isreal attacks Iran first does Iran have the right to retaliate?

A. of course they have the right to self defence. If they get attacked they should react with total force. I am sick of countries like Israel bombing and killing innocent civilians and pretending its self defence. The whole Iraq war was a favour to Israel. These people have to realise that one day they may lose a war and the way they behave at the moment will incite terrible retribution which will make the Holocaust seem like a picnic. I genuinely hope this does not happen but their policies at the moment are just not sustainable. There are plenty of decent Jewish people in the world, its time for them to be heard and reign in their murderous government. The 'Peace Now' movement is their only hope. Also dont kid yourself that Iran wont be… [cont.]

What will the price of gas be if Iran has nuclear weapons?
Q. Everyone is worried about going to war with Iran at the moment. But a nuclear Iran with the power to deliver the weapon, what will happen to the price of oil when Iran fires the first nuclear bomb at Israel and tries to wipe it off the map, and Israel responds with the same??? What will the price of gas be then? Iran is like a suicide bomber that is willing to die to destroy their enemy.

A. Not trying to be a smart a##, but it will definitely be higher than it is now! We should have already been at war with Iran when 9-11 happened! You are right about them willing to die to destroy their enemy and we should wipe them out first. We don't necessarily need their oil and can and hopefully will become more self reliant.

Can Iran cause a worldwide economic depression by disrupting oil shipments in the Gulf?
Q. If we attack Iran, they can use low level technology to disrupt oil shipments through the Gulf. They have done it before. They have land and ship launched anti ship missiles. They have thousands of sea mines and many ways to distribute them, both low level and high level techniques. From inflatable rubber boats, to mine laying ships and planes. Including commercial oil tankers. The Gulf is narrow and limits our military capabilities. Do you believe they can cause enormous economic problems in Europe, Asia and America? And can they caiuse a world wide depression?
Asked by Jack J - Thu Nov 8 14:37:43 2007 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments

A. Sure, if we carry on the war for years like we have in Iraq. The Iraq war should have been over in less than a year. But we disbanded the army and the governmental infrastructure, and are still trying to rebuild it from scratch. The people of Iran would love to see their government overthrown, so they can go back to being the westernized country the were prior to Jimmy Carter helping overthrow the Shah back in 1978, leading to what we have now. The Shah wasn't a nice guy, but he was better for the people than anything that has followed.

Are Iran and North Korea exploiting the USA's diminished credibility to accuse other countries of making nukes?
Q. We accused Iraq of trying to secretly build WMDs. They had none. Now, Iran and North Korea might be well on the way to having nuclear weapons, and what are we supposed to do about it? As well, we're over extended around the world militarily. So these nations know we cannot and will not do much about it if they are indeed building nuclear weapons. So what do we do about these situations?

A. I think they are exploiting our diminished ability to do anything about it. Our economy has tanked and we are stretched thin due current and future "commitments" in the middle east. Iran is gambling that we cannot afford another conflict. N. Korea is hoping that we will give them assistance to stop.

Is Iran hypocritical in criticizing Israel, which allows for freedom of religion while Iran does not?
Q. I always hear Iran President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad criticizing Israel, but does he realize that Muslims are free to practice their religion there while Jews are not free to practice their religion in Iran? Isn't that hypocritical?
Asked by Jeffrey - Sat May 16 13:23:49 2009 - - 8 Answers - 1 Comments

A. It is not hypocritical in the sense that for muslims everything that does not conform to Islam is subject to criticism. The Quran extensively prescribes hatred and violence toward Jews and Christians, and Israel is their primary target. President Ahmadinejad and the iranian people uphold the Quran to the word openly and with pride.

Q. I'm currently watching this idiot, racist Glenn Beck talking about wanting to attacking Iran. Who are we going to attack next, North Korea? This administration and people like Beck make me sick. Also another questions to Americans. Why is it that we support Israel, and not Middle Eastern countries? Just curious. True, the Iran president is a nutjob, but bombing other countries is the solution to everything.

A. Why do libs always call people racist when they don't agree with them. I watched the same program and never saw Glenn Beck use racial innuendos. The north korean situation is being defused. The koreas are working on a peace treaty to end the korean war and North korea is making efforts to dismantle its nuclear program. As for not supporting other middle eastern countries. Take out a piece of paper and take notes. U.S. Marines were based in Lebanon, until they were blown up by terrorists. The U.S. came to the aid of Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. You give liberals a bad name. Your associates would even tell you that the U.S. supports any middle eastern country that has oil.

Asked by Yea_Its_Me - Mon Dec 22 23:37:27 2008 - - 11 Answers - 0 Comments

A. We can see here the difference between American and Russian tactics with a hostile country. The USA prefers to use the cop method, in which mouthing off and demanded halting the nuclear program in Iran takes place. Russia prefers the gangster method, in which an enemy is sucked up to by selling it the weapons, thus mentally taking Russia off the list of enemies. Russia is not actually a friend of Iran. The reason they keep selling the Iranians stuff is so that they don't buy it from China. China's military is growing like a dandelion, and is becoming a greater threat to Russia, as well as Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, India, Canada, and the USA. A. No country would defend Iran. Just what could Russia or china do anyway ? Neither have the ability to move combat forces into Iran against resistance. Neither would engage in direst combat against the US, for Iran and risk it escalating into a nuclear war. Venezuela, might try and shut off the flow of oil to the US, but they would be cutting their own throat in doing so. Most people don't realize, that trade between Venezuela and the US has increased 40% the last 6 years. So we actually have better trade relations now, than ever before.

A. Then, we will launch missiles planted in Kuwait and from missile cruisers in the Persian Gulf into Iran. Supposedly, we will try to 'liberate' Iraq, and Israel wuld probably attack Iran as well. Oil prices will dramatically rise due to the new violence in the Middle East, especially when angry Islamic nations condemn Iran and Israel. And NO, we should not 'clean it up' there and invade Iran. That's pure stupidity (and what Bush would do, knowing him) and is like declaring war on 1 billion Islamists. Think about the damage it would cause (we couldn't fight a terrible Iraqi military; try fighting an even more technological advanced military in Iran, not to mention the inernational outcry from the world, especially the Middle East and Asia).… [cont.]

A lot of countries have nuclear capability, and missiles, after all, and so far, none of them have done anything too crazy with it. A. First, Iran is ruled by a maniac. He has declared that he intends to Islamize the west. He has declared that he intends to wipe Israel off the map. He is anti-American, anti-Christian, anti-Jewish and anti- just about everything good and decent in the world. He is intent on getting nuclear military capability. Such a capability would at best threaten the west, and at worst inflict causalities and damage beyond human imagination. Radical Islam threatens the entire western world. Iran must not be permitted to obtain nuclear weapons. .

A. This is one of the few times that I will warn someone away from doing their own research. It's likely that you'll ruffle feathers by trying to get those records from a western country. If you have a family member still living in that country, you can ask for their help. If not, my humblest suggestion is that you find an Iranian student organization at a large university and see if one would help you by explaining the system, the record-keeping, and assist you with getting the records. You will not do well sending a letter in English into Iran. You'll need correspondence to be in Farsi and it needs to come from an Islamic country.

Why are we planning a bombing run on Iran?
Q. Anybody have a clue why we are planning a bombing run on Iran? As far as I know we have properly opened up communication. So, instead of talking we are going to throw bombs at them. Wouldn't it be cheaper to offer some financial incentives instead of spending 80 million a bomb that will primarly kill people who are only following orders? Surely there has to be some way for us to solve this without another war. If we end up engaging Iran you can almost bet that they will have to reinstitute the draft, because we are spread way to thin, both from a financial perspective and a military perspective. A. Saudi Arabia practices a very strict form of Islam called Wahhabism, Iran practices Shia Islam which has a much less strict doctrine. Also, Saudi Arabia has always been run by an Islamic government, while Iran has only recently (After the revolution) became an Islamic state, before that it was a completely secular country run by a US puppet (The Shah) so you can see why they would still have that western and secular influence. Also remember that Iran is a Persian country, while Saudi Arabia is an Arab country. Prophet Muhammad is originally from Mecca, so you could see why the people there would take it upon themselves to be the ''strictest Muslims'', even though, in my opinion, neither the government nor the religious institutions in… [cont.]

And Iraq was backed by US, received weapons form USSR and weapons from european countries( They used german-french chemical weapons on Iranian soldiers in Iran ).
