Q. I want to get a Roomba but it feels im going to drain a ton of electricity if it has the self-charge feature which i really like. So I would like to know how much energy it needs to charge so I can get a Solar Panel or other eco-friendly energy source to charge it.

A. You shouldn't worry too much about the power drain. This is a small battery powered device and as such cannot consume much power. I'll give you a rough estimation of the cost to charge a Roomba. Lets say your robot has a battery pack of 12V, with a capacity of 4Amp hours. You multiply these 2 to get 48Watt hours. Electrical power sell at the retail price for lets say 15 cents for 1000 watt hours. So your roomba would need 15 cents * 48Watt hours/ 1000 watt hour = .72 cents, that's less than a penny for a charge. The larger issue is probably the waste in the charger from being plugged in 24/7. But that's still going to be on the order of pennies.
