How hotly is evolution contested among Islamic scientists?
Q. We all know that nearly all biologists and the like in the western world accept Darwinian evolution, and those that don't are quickly proved wrong, then deemed crackpots. However, is this the same case among scientists from the Islamic world? OK, allow me to rephrase the question: What is the current consensus and status quo of The Theory of Evolution in the Islamic world's scientific community. Any links to any polls, surveys or other statistic would go down swimmingly.

A. It depends on how prevalent the influence of clerics are in their country. Where Sharia law is able to exert power, you find the Islamic version of Creation Science. In places like Turkey, Jordan, or the United Arab Emirates, scientists are relatively free to pursue whatever avenue of inquiry they like.

Does Islamic separation of woman and men create pent-up anger and hatred within the community?
Q. Also. Is it possible to separate woman and men, as Islamic communities do, and not have a higher percentage of homosexual activity? Take prisons for example. There is a higher percetage of homosexual activity in prisons as compared the outside, yet its proven that homosexuals are no more likely to be criminals than anyone else. I think its hard to disagree with the following axoim: The degree to which you separate woman from men, is proportional to the degree in which homosexual activity increases with the community.

How come the Christians and Jews were like the Islamic Terrorists then, but arent now?
Q. As in, what did the Christians and Jews do so that we arent going around the world blowing people up anymore, but the Islamic Extremists still do? A. A. Contemporary Muslim jurists unanimously agree that blood transfusion for medical purposes is permissible. A Muslim is allowed to receive and donate blood for medical reasons. In Muslim countries it is very common nowadays to find that religious scholars and Imams are asked to urge people to make blood donations to hospitals for public welfare. These matters are related to human life. Islam teaches us to feed the hungry, to take care of the sick and to save people's lives. Q. 1. The price of oil goes from $35 per barrel to $110 in several years. 2.China and India have increased demand for oil during that period but not by 3X the previous price. 3.Islamic countries are the the major exporters of oil.

A. Back in the 70s, Oil quickly ran up to about $35.00 a barrell. America geared up for alternate fuels. They called them SynFuels back then. Once OPEC realized we were serious about creating different fuels, the price magically dropped to $17.00 a barrell. $35.00 was a "break even" price that meant it was not economically feasible to create alternative fuels at prices lower than $35.00 so guess what...so here we are. If the socialists and America haters would allow us to develop our energy sources we could flip the bird to the middle east...but the tree huggers won and here we are.

If the West had not pushed for a worldwide end to slavery, would slavery still be legal in Islamic countries?
Q. I understand that slavery is still widespread in Islamic countries, however it is considered technically illegal.

why is the army and the government too politically correct to call an islamic terrorist and islamic terrorist?
Q. I am referring to the Fort Hood shooter/killer/islamic terrorist. As a corollary, how can we protect against other moslems serving in the military who have radical/killer ideas? How about the death penalty for this killer?

A. I don't know, but it's disgusting. What disgusts me even more are the people on here that are sticking up for the Islamic terrorist.
