Loft mainly refers to two different types of rooms. It typically refers to an upper story or attic or basement in a building, directly under the roof. Alternatively, it can refer to a loft apartment which is a large adaptable open space either created or converted for residential use. AtticAn upper room or story in a building, mainly in a barn, directly under the roof, used either for storage (as in most private houses), for a specific purpose, e.g. an "organ loft" in a church, or to sleep in (sleeping loft). In this sense it is roughly synonymous with attic, the major difference being that an attic typically constitutes an entire floor of the building, while a loft covers only a few rooms, leaving one or more sides open to the lower floor. In barns a hayloft is often larger than the ground floor as it would contain a year's worth of hay. An attic loft can often be converted to form functional living accommodation (see loft conversion). Q. I can drive about 230-250 and i have a 10.5 degree cleveland hibore. What loft of a driver and what brand should i get to improve my distance. i usually hit it straight or slight fade. I also need some tips on getting my irons to go longer . thanks a lot Asked by gr8golfer - Wed Jul 8 16:01:20 2009 - - 9 Answers - 0 Comments A. It all depends on your swing speed and the stiffness of the shaft. Whatever stiffness you currently have, you could try the other stiffness (between stiff and regular flex shaft) as this will probably help you gain more distance, but not necessarily more accuracy. As others mentioned, you can also try different lofts. I currently use a 10.5 degree Titleist D2 and hit the ball ~280. My swing speed is right at 105 and I use a stiff flex shaft. I used to have a regular flex shaft and drove the ball exactly the same distance and I didn't swing as fast (~100mph then). The technology keeps getting better and really has evened the playing field quite a bit. There is no doubt that if anyone were to spend some time in a simulator and… [cont.] Answered by IDTheftGuru - Wed Jul 8 17:33:45 2009 From Yahoo Answer Search: "loft" |
