What substance is hard to punch, but malleable if touched gently?
Q. I'm looking for some substane (I've seen it before, but can't remember what it's called) that if hit forcefully - punch it, etc. - it's very hard, almost cement like, but if you just touch it you can make it malleable, like play dough. Anyone know what I'm talking about???

A. LOL ^_^ Brittle means to break easy ^_^ which can be metal heated to a extreme or some glass lol... Malleable means bendable this could be pure gold or then a peice of paper ^_^ Pure means a element with no other traces of other elements ^_^ hydrogen and tin are both pure Fake is something is decieving you like fools gold or thinking mercury isn't metal (because it's a liquid) SO lol you test fails ^_^ to have a correct answer on this question ^_^ Ok ... I read alot of incorrect answers on here ^_^ For the record all metals can be made brittle with heat and can be naturaly found that way to. Some metals are almost always found brittle such as Iridium or Bismuth. Or then man made Plutonium.
