Can Somebody Help With My Math Worksheet?
Q. I have to graph equations on a grid. I think they are quadratic. Equation #1: Y=X^2+5 Equation #2: Y=X^2-5X Y=0 Y=1 Y=-1 Y=2 Y=-2 Y=3 Y=-3 Y=4 Y=-4 So basically I have to figure out what X is and graph a parabola. But to do that I think I gotta root Y and that part confuses me.

Q. I need a website with worksheets. Mainly i would like math but other subjects like science, ELA, and social studies would be great. Mainly math though. A. Assuming you want to show both the results, and how you got them, at the same time, I would do this: In one column (let's say A), have the calculations that get the answers In an adjacent column (let's say B), show the formulas that are in column A. The way to do this is to go into each formula in A as if you're editing it, - select the whole formula, starting with the = - Edit - copy - go the adjacent cell where you want to show the work, and edit-paste - put a ' before the = so that it's treated as text instead of a formula. You should probably wait and do this at the end, when you're happy with all of your answers, because if you change any formulas, you would have to remember to also change the cells next to them that show the work.… [cont.]

A. Step one is to determine the angle (where John's head is). To do this you use the small triangle and mark the angle as theta and use the tangent function -- and it will look like: tan = 1.1/1.8 = tan-1 (means tan inverse) 1.1/1.8 = 31.4 degrees. Step two is to now calculate the height of the tree, based on the angle and the full length (1.8 + 24 = 25.8m). It will look like: tan 31.4 = x/25.8 25.8 tan 31.4 = x 15.75 = x (rounded off to the nearest 10th) So the tree is 15.75 meters tall. Have a good day!

A. www.askeric.com There are a lot of websites here. If you subscribe to any particular curriculum with your homeschoolers, they should help you with this. Also, just go to "Google" and ask. It may not be software, but it could be something helpful. When I worked with 4th grade, I made up some of their math drills. It just worked better for me in my class. Also, there are the books "what every 10 year old should know" (and other ages too) that have a lot of that skill and drill work. Try Mardell's Stores--that's where teachers get a lot of their stuff.
