Where can I find free math worksheets for elementary school?
Q. I'm looking for K-5 math worksheets that I can view, print (without copyright worries), and even fill in online. I'd like these to be free and be able to customize the worksheets in many ways.

A. I would honestly suggest you stay away from worksheets. They tend to make you want to think that math is just plugging numbers into formulas. Your best bet would be to find some books with the materials you are interested in. If you do not know of any good books, ask your math teacher for some suggestions. There are also websites dedicated to mathematics. is one.

Q. I'm taking Geometry online and I feel like I'm not getting enough practice. When I was in Algebra 1, my math teacher would give us these fun, puzzle type worksheets (there was a specific brand, I can't remember) to practice on. A. All else fails you can make your own. I'm not really a huge fan of worksheets...only when done in conjuction to a hands on activity where they are actually involved (kids 8 and under especially learn via being involved and it doesn't hurt with older kids) So how about you plan a hands on activity with a worksheet as a follow up? For example, have them measure things around the classroom and mark their results on a worksheet you've made? Or go on a scavenger hunt? etc. Be creative.

Q. We need to work on additional math drills and need a software package that can generate work sheets for these drills. Basic addition and subtraction but also multiplication, division, fractions, and measurements at a 4th grade level.
