Muhammad received revelation from a spirit he did not know?
Q. Muhammad first thought this spirit was a demon. Islam teaches the scriptures were corrupt..How would Muhammad test this spirit to know it was from God? Sorry for the repeat someone deleted the previous question I'm sure it will be reinstated as it is not a violation. Muhmmad Y I'm not making this up it is a well known Hadith. Even if it were not Muhammad as a prophet of God is required to be in agreemnt with the prophet as are any spirits he received revealtion from...and if that were not true..how would you know he was a prophet or the spirit was not a demon? Don't you question anything? Peace, How did he reach his conclusion if the word of God was corrupt? I do research now please explain. Did Muhammad not have a way to know test tis… [cont.]

A. Glad to see this question back again..Obviously all prophets were required by God to be in agreement.. The Bible instructs all prophets and angels must agree with the word of God..If Mohammad received his revelation form an angel then he was required to test this revelation with the word of God. If the word of God was corrupt then Muhammad had no way to know if the angel was sent by God or not. And no one had a way to say if Mohammad was a prophet of God...So Muslims have to trust a spirit that disagrees with God..and a prophet that disagrees with God..and somehow pretend that they can know that this spirit is Gabriel when no one including Mohammad could know for sure. Gal. 1: 8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other… [cont.]
