A. The consumption of alcohol is completely forbidden in Islam and so is selling and you shouldn't work in an alcohol industry either, and income derived from alcohol sales is also haram.

How can India respond effectively to Muslim Terrorism without killing millions of innocent people?
Q. Recently I asked how can India respond to Muslim Terrorism that is funded to a large extent by Iran. A number of replies were to the effect that we should use nuclear weapons against Iran. The problem with that is that we would kill millions of innocent people who had nothing to do with the terrorism if we did that. Is there an effective way of responding to Muslim Terrorism with out killing many innocent perople in the process? If so, please tell me what it is. Sultan 395 you are very foolish. A. I think that the best way to respond is the way that former United States President John Kennedy responded during the Cuban missile crisis. Back then the former Soviet Union tried to install nuclear missiles in Cuba. President Kennedy responded by blockading Cuba. I think that the same needs to be done with Muslim countries that fund terrorism. The money that goes to fund terrorism comes for the most part from revenues those countries receive from exporting oil. India has a right to defend itself by blockading the countries that fund terrorism to prevent them from exporting oil. That will dry up the money available for terrorism and will not result in the loss of innocent lives. India can blockade Iran or any other country on its… [cont.]

A. I recommend you to read 'Men Are Like That' "''An appropriate analogy with the Jewish Holocaust might be the systematic extermination of the entire Muslim population of the independent republic of Armenia which consisted of at least 30-40 percent of the population of that republic. The memoirs of an Armenian army officer who participated in and eye-witnessed these atrocities was published in the U.S. in 1926 with the title 'Men Are Like That.' Other references abound.'' A. Did you know that in Islam: A mother (who's obviously a WOMAN) is given a status higher than the father (a man). - - The Quran elevates kindness to parents (especially mothers) to a status second to the worship of God: Your Lord has commanded that you worship none but Him, and that you be kind to your parents. If one of them or both of them reach old age with you, do not say to them a word of disrespect, or scold them, but say a generous word to them. And act humbly to them in mercy, and say, My Lord, have mercy on them, since they cared for me when I was small. (Quran, 17:23-24, see also 31:14, 46:15, and 29:8) (2) Naturally, the Prophet Muhammad specified this behavior for his followers, rendering to mothers an unequalled status… [cont.]

A. First of all let's not talk about Muslims and Jewish people, rather the problem here is between Palestinians and descendants of Jewish people who needed a land to call their own after World War 2. What happened, at least from the Palestinians perspective is that: 1) They had a land. 2) Some powerful European countries wanted to help relocate Jewish people after the war. 3) Instead of choosing a land in their own territories, they gave them Palestine without asking. 4) Palestinians didn't understand and accept how their own land could be given to strangers by other strangers. 5) They started a revolution to regain their sovereignty on their own land. 6) The "new land of Israel" was strengthened with the help of European countries and the… [cont.]

A. Prayer in Islam, is worship of Allah the Almighty, Praising and Thanking Him, acknowledging His Sovereignty and committing oneself to obey and remember Him at all times. It is the central part of a way of life, which is based on submission to the Owner of all. The Muslim must seek to remember Allah at all times. He must be mindful that everything he is, everything he does, everything he knows and understands, is due to the Mercy of Allah. In acknowledging this, he remembers the fact that death lies in wait and he does not know when he will depart from this worldly life. Five times a day, he stands in prayer. Focusing all his thoughts on the Creator. He praises, thanks and acknowledges the Greatness of Allah and seeks His forgiveness. His… [cont.]
