Q. The war on Islamist terrorism shows no signs of abatement. What are the best ways to protect law abiding US citizens in good standing from the objectives of Islamist terrorism organization like Al Qaeda from killing all Americans as they have vowed? gentle beast It's so obvious that you are projecting your own inner identity. Why don't you go to Damascus or Tehran and explain that they should stop their terrorism supporting state policies, or the Pakistanis or Saudis. Why don't you explain your simpleton position to ObL because maybe he doesn't know.

A. No this is not justified at this time. However, in the future should we see widespread attacks in the united states by muslim extremists. Then, i would support the banning of the muslim faith and immediately deporting all muslims from the country. Regardless of religious beliefs if any religion doesn't matter what it is were to believe all americans must die then that is not being a loyal faithful american. Thus, you then become the enemy and nothing should protect your rights if your only belief is that americans have to die.

Can any American Muslims explain why there were no Muslim anti-terrorism protests here after 9/11?
Q. If I was a member of a minority that had an extremist wing responsible for a terrorist attack, I would have organized such a protest both so the terrorists would see our solidarity with America as well as to diffuse any misconceptions by Americans that my entire group was in line with the extremists...I was very surprised that Muslims did not do this (at least not that I saw). Explanations?

A. They have to comply with the teachings of their book so why will they protest, but if you just draw a cartoon the protests will be so much and they will issue fatwas to get you killed.

Would it be different if the Virginia Tech shooter was Muslim? Does one have to be Muslim to commit terrorism?
Q. Since he is not a Muslim, what he did is terrorized people, is he a terrorist? I am a Muslim myself and I was shocked when Sulejman Talovic shot those poor people and because he was a Muslim, everyone thought he was one. So why the double standard?
Asked by Honest&True - Thu Apr 19 21:36:20 2007 - - 8 Answers - 0 Comments
A. A terrorist is not necessarily Muslim. A terrorist is anyone who commits a crime to spread fear among the general public. To determine if he is a terrorist, one would need to fully determine what his motives were. If he was trying to kill those who specifically wronged him (in his opinion) then he is not. If he did it to scare "rich kids" and take down as many as possible, then he is.

We are repeatedly lectured that only a very small minority of Muslims are troublemakers who are giving the peaceful masses of Muslims a bad name. A. Muslim Terrorism has become a reality and even well meaning Muslims must recognise that as a threat to their identity and their name and fame. No amount of justification on the basis of some real and imaginary grievance cannot wash terrorism. An argument of injustice cannot be justified for an act any humanity. When the Indian Muslims were subjected to injustice, there were always protests from saner elements from the majority Hindus. Whatever be the religion of a person, he must rise against injustice done to all.

A. The first thing that comes to my mind is the racist way they speak about us. We may take them into our countries, but they want us to be the same as them, even though they came to western countries to escape the disastrous situations in their own lands. Will the UK be turned into the same hell-hole that they escaped from? I wonder. PS Do they have to abide by the same laws as Britons, or can they have several wives and punish people the same as they do in Moslem countries? They are certainly very demanding people.

Do you feel that the Muslim clerics are too quiet, when incidents of terrorism occur in the U.S.?
Q. I have absolutely nothing against the Muslim community, however, I do get the sense of "silence", more than outrage when incidents of terrorism, occur on American soil. Very soon, the tenth anniversary of 911 will be upon us, and despite the culture and old world traditions of the middle east. I don't see how this deafening silence from the Muslim community, is going to manifest any kind of peaceful solution, do you?

A. The mistake you make is in assuming the Muslim community is doing something for which it should apologize. When Israel attacks Lebanon or Gaza, we do not have rabbis on television denouncing, apologizing, placating. This is not because everyone believes Israel is blameless all the time, but because every Jew is not accountable for the action of every other Jew. I am a Muslim. I certainly do not blame every Jew for the actions of some illegal settlers in Israel, or for Israel's military misdeeds, or for provocative speech or acts by some individuals in my home town. I will not be blamed or feel blame for the actions of every Muslim in the world. Now, when the media takes a case like Major Hasan, Army psychiatrist who went "postal"… [cont.]

The answer to muslim terrorism!?
Q. Here is the answer to terrorism. How would this cause more… [cont.]
