What is it with celebrities naming their children such odd names?
Q. First it was Michael Jackson naming his children Apple and Blanket, now it's Ashlee Simpson naming her son Bronx. Do celebrities think they're that much higher than the working- class people that they have to go ten notches higher with the baby names. Do they consider their children when choosing their names, and how when they grow up how their classmates and peers will taunt them? Seriously? Am I the only one that thinks this? What's your stance on it?

Q. I've always liked old fashioned names and now have a short list. Cyrus Anthony and James Dante for boys and Cecily Rose and Darcey May for girls although I'm not too sure on the middle names. I just wondered what people thought of giving children names like this and other old fashioned names.

A. Many of the older names sound better than newer names coming out now. My daughter's name is Grace Evelyn and my son is Isaac. As long as you don't name your child Bertha or Ignatius, I think you'll do just fine :)

What are some unique, exotic names for a story based on the future?
Q. My story takes place in the future, and I need unusual, exotic, unique, etc names. Names that aren't used often (or at all). =) I already have a few for the main characters, such as Layla, Skye, Ozeria, Pavi, and Soren. I need exotic names for the minor characters.

Well i'm Indian, so i guess names like mine are pretty exotic lol, here's some girl indian names: Sudipta (my name, it means bright, pronounced sue-deep-tuh) Sharmila (my sister's name, i love it, it means good luck, pronounced shar-meela, like mila kunis) Amisha- pronounced Ah-meesha Sonia- pronounced So-nee-yuh Shivani (my mom's name, pronounced she-vaughn-ee) Priyanka -pronounced Pree-awn-ka Henna-(means mehendi, a pretty pattern, pronounced hen-nuh) Priya -means beloved pronounced pree-uh
