A. Going to NAIA via EDSA is still the best route if you're new in Manila from NLEX balintawak, take the southbound edsa at the cloverleaf.

A. Here's your route. NLEX >> Exit to Cubao. Take EDSA up to Pasay. End of EDSA is Macapagal Ave. Turn left at Macapagal Ave. End of Macapagal Ave in the south is Coastal Raod. Take Coastal Rd. End of Coastal Road is Aguilnaldo Hiway. Take Aguinaldo Hiway to Dasmarinas. At Dasmarinas Bayan (traffic light). Turn left to La Salle. La Salle is about 3Km form Aguinaldo Hiway. You can also exit NLEX to Manila via Bonifacio Ave ~ Dimasalang ~ Quezon Blvd ~ Roxas Blvd ~ Coastal Rd. Your marker in Cavite. SM Bacoor, Robinsons Imus, Dasmarinas. If you reached SM Dasmarinas, take a U TURN. If you are taking a public transportation. Take a Saulog bus at NLEX (or EDSA). This bus is coming from Olongapo or Baguio and will go to Cavite City. A. NLEX is too risky for a student permit holder to drive thru. You might get into accident.

Are major thoroughfares like EDSA, SLEX, NLEX, Roxas Blvd., C5 not included in color coding?
Q. Are major thoroughfares like EDSA, SLEX, NLEX, Roxas Blvd., C5 not included in color coding?
Asked by Lito - Fri Oct 30 03:45:36 2009 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments

A. Major thoroughfares within Metro Manila such as EDSA, Roxas Boulevard, and C5 are all under color-coding system, or more properly known as the "odd-even scheme". In fact, the perennial traffic situation in EDSA is what led the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority to conjure up the color-coding system. Meanwhile, both the NLEx and SLEx are NOT included in the color coding system, the reason being they are NOT part of MMDA jurisdiction - they are directly under the Department of Public Works and Highways.

How to get to Eastwood City by Car?
Q. I would be traveling from North (Bulacan) So I would be going thru NLEX then to EDSA up to CUBAO. Now from Cubao, how do I get to Eastwood City?
Asked by scorpionflare - Tue Feb 10 09:38:52 2009 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments

A. the easiest way, for me, is to pass along P. Tuazon. it is "connected" with EDSA, right? Just go straight until you are located in an intersection. The road on the left leads to Katipunan (Ateneo, UP, Miriam) and on the right is the road to White Plains. All you need to do is to drive straight to reach the flyover to Libis. You will eventually see the uniquely-designed building of Citibank on the left. The road beside it is the main entrance to Eastwood City/Mall. The only tricky part here is the u-turn. The next u-turn will be after Jollibee, which is more or less a kilometer from the Citibank building.

Got charged with overspeeding. Can I ask someone to claim my Driver's License in East Ave.? ?
Q. Got caught overspeeding in the NLEX highway and the officer took my drivers license. Can someone else pay the fine and claim it for me or do I really need to get it myself? What is the process?

A. I agree with Bruised Bannerd. You have to personally get your license from the LTO. Well, i've never been charged with overspeeding, but i think it is one of the most sensitive offenses a motorist could possibly commit. I've read form somewhere that LTO plans to implement a policy in revoking the licenses for overspeeding/reckless driving (when twice charged). Just be sure you claim your DL within the 15 day grace period to do away with the unnecessary procedures shall you fail to show within the time frame that will get your license suspended. Come in the morning, just in case you would be required to attend a seminar and to pass a written exam for erring drivers. I'm not sure though if your offense qualifies you for this, but it is… [cont.]

A. >From NLEX, turn right at EDSA through the cloverleaf flyovers (remember that EDSA is at the end of NLEX, if your from the North) >Drive along EDSA all the way to the south >After passing the Magallanes interchange (visualization: those many criscrossing flyovers with the highest one being the skyway), line your vehicle to the inner lane of EDSA and take the next flyover going left to Andrews Ave. >At the end of Andrews ave, turn right >At the next intersection, turn left to Domestic road >Drive along Domestic road and turn left at the next major intersection with stoplight. >Drive straight along that road. DON'T turn right at the next intersection because that would lead you instead to terminal 1(there would be road signs there already… [cont.]

A. 1. From Balintawak, just drive through the North Luzon Expressway up to Sta. Ines exit (which is the last exit), and turn left. 2. Once you have turned left, go straight until you reach McArthur Highway, then turn right. 3. Just go straight. The town of Bamban in Tarlac will be ahead.
