Q. If so why go? Why go to a place that you may be killed? Also why do countries if they have attack when the Olympics is going on.

A. Usually there is a request for an Olympic truce. That being all wars and hostilities be stopped while the Olympics is going on. To my knowledge no host country has ever been invaded or attacked during the Olympics.
