Has anyone stayed at Royal Park Hotel in NY?
Q. Me and a few of my friends are planning to go to NY in April and are looking for a Hotel to stay at that isn't to expensive. Royal Park Hotel has a good deal but I can't find too many reviews on this. We were looking at the Superior Double Queen Ensuite since we do not want to share a bath room.

What is cheapest form of transportation from Dulles Airport to Marriott Wardman Park Hotel ?
Q. Our chapter is attending a national conference at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel in Washington DC and we have no idea how we are going to get from one place to another. Is there any buses, shuttles or trains? Thank you!
Asked by violet_smiles - Fri Jun 5 13:09:43 2009 - - 6 Answers - 0 Comments
A. The cheapest way would be to take Metro bus to the Rosslyn or West Falls Church Metro and then Metro to the hotel. Metro trip planner says that'll cost you about $4 and take an hour but I would count on it taking longer (up to twice as long) depending on when you fly in.

Has anyone stayed at the Paco Park Oasis Hotel In Manila?
Q. I will be arriving in Manila in a few weeks and will be staying at the Paco Park Hotel for a week and would like some input on it. Any idea how much a taxi should cost to get there from the airport?
Asked by mitchleestanton - Sun Aug 31 00:23:32 2008 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments
A. The taxi from the Airport will probably be 500 fixed (from the international) or about 250 from the domestic if you get a metered cab. The neighborhood around the Paco Park is a bit dreary, but the hotel itself is really nice. It is interestingly decorated, has good food, a nice pool, and the owners and their friends are really nice.

Q. I'm trying to plan travel for my boss and he wants some upscale restaurant reservations withen walking distance to this hotel. I found some good restaurants, but they are 2 and 3 miles away. Any ideas? Thank you guys so much for your help, I'm going to look into all of those and see what they decide they want. I really appreciate all the effort.

A. There really isn't much in the way of *upscale* restaurants in this area- at least not in the sense of upscale to a person that has someone else make their reservations for them... I mean, nothing like Galileo or 1789 downtown. However, there are some good options: Lebanese Taverna (Lebanese Food) 2641 Connecticut Ave NW, Washington, DC (202) 265-8681 Tono Sushi 2605 Connecticut Ave NW, Washington, DC (202) 332-7300 Little India 2623 Connecticut Ave NW Washington, DC 20008 Taste of India 2621 Connecticut Ave NW, Washington, DC (202) 483-1115 If they want something high end, and are willing to cab it (cabs in DC are extremely easy to find and fairly cheap) Ruth's Chris Steakhouse 1801 Connecticut Ave NW, Washington, DC (202) 797-0033 [cont.]

Asked by Black K - Fri Aug 15 11:52:29 2008 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments
A. The Park Central is at 870 7th Ave, near 56th. (NOT on 31st street between Park and Lex, which is around the corner from where I live!) If I understood you correctly you are taking the PATH train to 33rd? If this is the case then take an N, W, R, or Q train from 34th street to 59th/7th and walk 3 blocks to the Hotel. You can access the subway from the PATH station

Are the tennis courts free to use for visitors of the Grand Park hotel Dubrovnik and can rackets be rented?
Q. Can those staying at the hotel use the courts for free or how much are they to play on? And can Rackets and balls be rented?

A. I'm pretty sure if you're staying at the hotel you can use them for free. But rackets will most likely be there for rent. Our people like to get on the tourists. But you'll find out that we have the most beautiful country in the world. But wow, Dubrovnik is a hidden gem, you are very smart going there. Next time you go to Croatia, I'd also visit Istra.

A. Rome Marriott Park Hotel is a big conference center on the ring road around Rome. The closest transportation into the city is about 2 miles away at Muratella - subway, train, bus. The hotel does run a shuttle to Piazza Cavour every two hours between 8 am and 10 pm with return trips to the hotel on the odd hours from 9 am to 11 pm. The Courtyard Venice Airport is in Tessera on the mainland near the airport. The hotel is not particularly convenient to Venice - it's about a half mile from the airport and eight miles from Venice. You could take the airport shuttle to Darsena and catch the boat to Venice, or go to Mestre and take the train across the causeway to Venice. Or, if you have a car, you can drive to the Venice parking area. Both of… [cont.]

There are a number of hotels under 100. Melia Roma Aurelia Antica - from 76 Hotel Pisana Palace - 58 Hotel I Triangoli - 48 Hotel Princess However, most of the hotels are 3 to 5 kms from where you want to be near to. I would advise you to book soonish as you will be coming into peak holiday season. Good luck

Where can I find hotel & theme park packages?
Q. I know there are some hotels that give you theme park tickets with your hotel stay. Where can I find these?? We want to go to Disney World, Orlando and stay in a hotel just for 1-2 nights. We live just outside of Orlando, but definately need a vacation with our kids...something small and inexpensive. Any suggestions?

A. If you want a hotel/ticket package and are just going to Disney World, your best bet is just purchasing a Disney vacation package. They have value resorts, which would be perfect if you're only staying a night or two. And if you get a ticket with multiple days on it, the price decreases slightly for each day added. I did a little research when I was planning our last Orlando vacation, and every hotel I looked into that offered park tickets actually charged MORE for them because of their own convenience fees. So you really won't be saving any money that way. Your cheapest options would be to either book a Disney vacation, or just find a cheaper hotel and purchase your tickets directly from Disney.

A. You will be visiting Yellowstone during the busy season, so you should make reservations as soon as possible. The park gets busy by Memorial Day and stays crowded until Labor Day. Avoid these two holiday weekends as well as July 4th. I've stayed at the Gray Wolf Inn and the Yellowstone Park Hotel in West Yellowstone. Both are decent places to stay and reasonably priced for the season. They are both less than a 1/2 mile from the park entrance. I've attached links for you. If you want to stay in the park, check out the 3rd link below. It is the site for Xanterra, the park concessionaire that runs all of the hotels, restaurants and gift shops in the park. just for fun...the park web cams, plus tons of good park info on this page. … [cont.]
