Q. how do you go to victory liner in pasay from manila, specifically sampaloc?
Asked by fairydust - Fri Oct 16 07:15:04 2009 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments

A. Take a LRT to EDSA station then walk to Victory Liner. Victory Liner is along EDSA. You can also take a jeepney going to Baclaran. Get off EDSA Taft. You can walk to Vitory Liner or take another jeepney or bus that will go along EDSA. If you are driving, take Roxa Blvd to Macapagal Ave. turn left at EDSA. Go straight to Magallanes interchange then take a U turn below the bridge to Victory Liner.

Where is Victory Liner Terminal in Manila/Pasay?
Q. The V.L. web site just says EDSA. Does that mean their terminal is co-located with the EDSA LRT1 terminal? Also, what is the LRT fare now?

A. Not much of a help but the Victory bus terminal in Pasay is not co-located with edsa lrt (and the Pasay MRT) but it is near it. I remember taking taxi to the Victory terminal bound to Baguio after getting off the LRT.

A. Make sure you are directed to an Airport Taxi, the ones who are in line where you get a ticket stating what taxi number and what the fare is. Fares are set for those. Never ever get into a car where you are solicited as soon as you get out of the airport (And not to mention that really hot air in your face).

A. I'm with Sanmigsean here, Makati is a boring, over rated plastic place with lots of snobby people out on the sidewalks having fun. As an expat, the Malate area is so much more genuine, I even run up and down the streets in jeepneys sometimes, it's safe. The area is more run down, but they're making a huge effort to turn this around, and there are some expensive hotels here, the sunset is great and you don't have to wear silly crocodiles or polo ponies on your shirts to get a drink. There's everything here from 18 peso beers to 3 dollar beers and rooms from 300 pesos to 200 dollars, meals from 50 pesos to 50 dollars, and it's a lot more real!!
