From Google News Search: "printed" How do you avoid blurry printed pics from a digital camera? Q. I've tried to use Irfanview and the Canon program and I can't seem to get my pics to come out sharp rather than blurry when printed out. Thank you! Asked by Jax - Fri Jun 22 00:28:02 2007 - - 4 Answers - 0 Comments A. Are they blurry when you view them on the camera's viewfinder or on the computer monitor? If so, I'm afraid there isn't much you can do...it may mean you flinched or otherwise unintentionally shook the camera right when you clicked the shutter..OR there is something wrong with your camera. Also, how what size pictures are you printing and how many megapixels is your camera? It could be that the size of the picture is too large for your camera to produce sharp images. For example, I have a 5.1 megapixel camera and anything I print much larger than a 5x7 doesn't turn out sharp. Next time I'll try to get a camera that's 7 or 8 megapixels so I can make larger prints more clearly. Hope this helps. Q. I have printed an A4 size photo shot in my 3.2 mp camera but the outcome is not as sharp and clear as it appears on the screen of my pc. How do I achieve sharpness I see on screen? Asked by juicypok - Mon Jun 23 03:28:52 2008 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments A. Hi Juicypok. (Cute Name :))). What you see on the screen is not always what you get in print because the screen is so small that even an out of focus picture looks fine. It is when you blow-up/enlarge for print can you tell if the picture was taken in focus. For normal size enlargements with your camera's MPs of 3.2 you should get a clear picture... referring to a nice 4 X 6 - 5 X 7 - 8 X 10. The secret is to being as still as a statue when taking the picture (not always possible) or an easier solution - use a tripod.
