A. As previously mentioned, it depends on the type of job. A couple examples: Office jobs, all of Microsoft office suite would be helpful to know. Excel (spreadsheets), Powerpoint (presentations), Word (documents), Outlook (emails). Acccounant: Microsoft Office Excel and Quickbooks for sure. However, if design jobs are more your interest, Microsoft office won't be much use (they are more office jobs). For these you would need design programs such as: Adobe Suite, including, but not limited to Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, Dreamweaver, Flash, InDesign, After Effects

A. Its not the programs that are harmful, its the improper use of them that causes ill effects. Some people say Limewire causes viruses but this is simply not true. Its the fact that most people who get viruses from using it do so by NOT scanning the files before using or opening them first.

A. Not heard of any software to do this but if you right click on the icon of the game and select properties there is a compatability tab that you can use to set the operating system to.

A. if you go to start>all programs, then right click "all programs">explore double click the programs folder you can now create folders many of the links that appear in the all programs menu may not appear in the programs folder - don't ask me why! if you go back to start>all programs you should see your new folder - you can now drag links into this folder Or use free software that simplifies the whole process Tidy Start Menu

How do you uninstall programs without any trace at all in my computer?

A. you can delete it from control panel add/remove programs.or you can delete the folder containing those files.but what you should know is that you can't delete all the files because some of the fies are replaced to the .dll files of windows.but I think there's a way you can delete them and it's system restore.it helps you to go back to the date that you hadn't installed that software. go to control pannel and find the help&support center and search ''system restore''.there is enough information that can help you to create a restore point.

I had a similar proplem I had a program that add/remove said couldnt be removed I went and downloaded windows installer cleaning utility program was on there I hit remove and it removed it no problem. A. in task bar any blue area right click and select properties...and in there make the radio button of start menu enabled click customize there in the advanced tab...there will be start menu items...and with many options for scrolling ...there will be a check box there with "scroll programs" option...there u will have tick mark..remove it and click apply//ok finishd.

What recording programs does the lexicon work with?
Q. I just got the lexicon alpha the other day and i tired to install the cubase that came with it but it didn't work on my computer. i went though a whole bunch of stuff and decided that i would be better off using it on another program. can somebody tell me what programs the lexicon alpha works with? i have heard that it doesn't work with audacity. is that true? oh thanks well i have an acoustic electric with a preamp, so i was gonna run it though the alpha and then to the recording program. do you really think that audacity will work?

How do I choose which programs I want to automatically open when my computer starts up?

A. yes, download Tune-Up Utilities 2008. After you have installed it go to TuneUp StartUp Manager then right there you can unselect those programs that you dont want to run at start-up.

(obviously), and can use all the tools on Yahoo!Finance to do what you want to do ...but don't fall prey to the idea that if you look at a company's stock-price graph, and the line always goes up, that it will do so in the future. A. Sometimes, if you take off a program, then it may effect others. An example is Google Updater is needed to run in the background while Google Talk or Google Earth is running. Many programs don't work this way, and you can tell if programs work in this way if during the uninstall process, it says 'These programs: XXX may not work when you uninstall this. Would you like to continue?' Usually this will clue you in on whether to uninstall or not. Just make sure to keep the question in your mind: "Why am I uninstalling this?" If it is for several reasons (an example would be it is not useful, and I don't use it or anyone uses it) then you should be fine.
