How to make Samsung Instinct S30 to make your mp3 files your ring tone?
Q. Has anyone figured out yet how to make your music files on your samsung instinct s30 phone into ringtones I'm sprint, and they want you to purchase the songs and their not even good mixe's of the songs for ringtones- This is the only phone I have ever encountered that doesn't allow you to yourself set your music files as ring tones? Can someone please help a brotha out?

Q. I bluetoothed all my ringtones from my razr into my new phone (Samsung instinct) Its flashed to cricket. but they get put in the media player and i cant set them as ringtones. All of them are 13 seconds or less and in mp3 format. help ?

A. sprint does not allow you to use mp3 files in the memory card as ringtones. they block that in order to make more money. Since your phone used to be sprint, that is why it will not work the only way is to follow the above tutorial from ventones and convert the mp3 files to a video file. then transfer that to your memory card. ventones is the only free ringtone site that allows you to do that. its awesome!

A. Read the Cell Phone User Manual. I'm sure it will tell you that Windows 98 is not supported by their software. So, upgrade to XP or Vista. Best guess, your PC is too old for either, so you may have to buy a new PC. .

A. you can download it from limewire then insert your memory card into the computer. after this you simply find the file that the song you downloaded went to and drag it over to the memory card's file.

Should I stay with my Samsung Upstage or upgrade to a Samsung Instinct?
Q. Should I stay with my Samsung Upstage or upgrade to a Samsung Instinct? Both phones are thin and light weight and thats a plus to me. The upstage has a slight "touch screen" feature while the Instinct has a full "touch screen" feature. I've had my Upstage for over a year now and I like to stay up to date with the latests technology.

A. i just recently got an Instinct and i love it, the touch screen is awesome and i actually think is it really easy to text on. My friend also has had the upstage for about a year and a half and we both really dislike that phone. We both think it is overly complicated and the screen is about a centimeter big to work on. I would definitely go with the instinct its just plain easier to use and has sweet features to go along with it. (and u dont have to keep flipping it over like the upstage.)

Can i turn off the the touch vibrate on the Samsung Instinct only on the keyboard?
Q. I have the Samsung Instinct and texting with the keyboard sort of has delayed feedback. When i go to Main > Settings > Volume & Vibration and turn Touch Vibrate off the keyboard has no delay at all. I like the touch vibrate feature when using the phone, only not when texting. Does anyone know how to turn off the Touch Vibarte feature only for using the keyboard?

A. It has a unit converter in the calculator which is extremely useful when cooking. I also love reading the strange news.To rotate a picture you have to view the picture, tap on the bottom right icon that has a green arrow, and it will instruct you from there. its pretty easy once you figure out the icons.
