Is it possible to get the Samsung SGH-U700 to properly function in the United States?
Q. My Samsung SGH-U700 shows full service bars but I have a great deal of trouble trying to make or receive calls and text messages. It will only work every now and then. Most of the time it just says "emergency calls only". Any thoughts?

A. I don't know this phone but I found the following... which indicates it should be able to roam in the US. But of course that is assuming you are using a GSM network (for instance, T-Mobile) versus CDMA.

A. To be absolutely honest, I don't think you can move messages from the phone memory 2 your sim card. Sim cards don't hold a great deal of info.

A. i just got this same phone 2 days ago. its actually pretty easy. step 1: you'll need a .jar file (basically a zipped up java file for phones) step 2: use an online wap file storage site and upload your file. step 3: follow the websites instructions to retrieve the file on your phone. step 4: download file on your phone and save it to memory. the only cost to you is the data that you use to go online and download the file. so it will be on your bill if you pay per megabyte. ps using bluetooth or usb to copy the .jar files to your "other", "video", "music" folders doesn't work.

A. Go visit your cell phone carrier, They do a one step process for blocking numbers from your phone. Like the person above me said you can go to settings in the text messaging screen and then on auto block you click yes. If you dont have that feature then you should most defantiely go visit your carrier. That is the only possible way besides blocking them straight from your phone. A. the number must be on the phone memory NOT the sim card. if u need to just copy the number to the phone. then scroll to the number, go to 'view' then 'edit' then then scroll down to picture and add. you can even add video. the video comes up when someone calls, thats what i use ;)
