What's the difference between setting up the gmail option and setting up IMAP with gmail on the iPhone?
Q. When you set up email on the iphone, there are two options for setting up gmail. Either you can press the gmail button, or you can follow google's instructions on how to set up IMAP for gmail on the iPhone. What's the difference between these?
Asked by VTdude - Sun Jul 5 12:40:07 2009 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments

A. Google's instructions were written before the iPhone had the preset gmail option. You will be able to have your email set up as an imap account either way. The only real difference is in the amount of typing you have to do to set it up.

What is the best flash setting on camera?
Q. I have a Fuji FinePix A900 camera and I blink no matter which flash setting is on. So I'm looking to buy a new one. What is the best flash setting on camera for people that blink in pictures? Explain to me the different flash settings and when they are used.

A. best fix is for free... just try to relax when you're in front of the camera and just try to control that urge to blink. m a photographer from time to time you'll get some shots that way, but it's not the camera actually. just feel relaxed and not too tense and conscious. feel the environment instead of just the camera. but if you are using DSLR camera then you can remedy that by adjusting the flash angle to just bounce off to you rather than directly in your face. and if you are using a common digicam, then you can try to leave a safe distance of yourself from the camera so that the flash won't be too much to your eyes. (you can always use zoom) ;-) just be sure to have a good light source then so that your shot wont be too dark but most… [cont.]

What is a good digital camera setting to use for a concert?
Q. I have a Panasonic Lumix dmc-fs3 and will be attending an indoor concert at a bar at 7:30 PM in a few days. (Cameras are allowed) I'm not sure where I will be standing because it is general admission, but what setting would be best to use to get past all of the pesky lighting that fogs up pictures? It has Intelligent Auto but i'm not sure if that would be best in the setting. Thanks if you can help!

A. Unless you're close to the stage, a flash isn't going to be much of a help so turn that off. Crank it to the highest ISO. It's going to be noisy as hell but that's the only way you're going to get even slightly sharp pictures. If you can control the aperture in manual mode, open it up all the way (smallest number). See how that works. If it's still too dark for a decent exposure, force it to about 1/60 second shutter speed and then you'll just have to mess with it and boost the exposure after you've downloaded the pics at home.
