Q. I am interested in being a server for the big banquets at the Sheraton WildHorse Pass resort, which is 5 diamonds. Does anyone know how much money I can make doing that?

How to play stevie ray vaughan/other blues rock solo's on an epiphone sheraton 2?
Q. The epiphone sheraton 2 is basically a cheaper version of the gibson es 335. Basically it doesn't handle distortion that well with solos. How can i improve my sound with this kind of music, would it help to raise the action or use a higher string gauge?

As a player of blues ( and all other types of music ) for 45 plus years, I should enlighten you to a couple of things. Put your mind at ease over "tone and sound" of other players. When Stevie Ray would record a solo, he would use as many as six different amps, all at the same time , in isolated rooms, all with tones ranging from heavy distortion to a clear tone. Where should we stay in Kauai? How is the Sheraton?
Q. We're planning a trip to Kauai and want to know where to stay. Our priorities for a place are that it - is very close to a good beach, and chairs and towels are included - isn't too isolated, that it's easy to drive to other restaurants - can be a bit pricey but isn't super-expensive (for example, the Princeville costs too much for us) We're thinking that the Sheraton Kauai might fit these criteria. What do you think?

A. The Sheraton is a great place to stay, and does in fact fit your criteria. I really have to problem with it, so by all means enjoy your trip and stay there. A. Replace the switch for $12 plus shipping. Here's a few sources: (Warmoth has a $25 minimum order) There's also an "angled" LP switch. Take your switch out and see which one you have. Once you get the switch out, it will be obvious: I also found a zzsounds review that states "Good pickups, good tuners, hell good everything. Only problem: Get toggle switch replaced as soon as you can. It breaks easily." If you haven't soldered before, now's the time to give it a try. It's pretty easy and you can get an iron and solder cheap from Walmart. Good Luck!!

A. Hi we visited Wild Wadi Water park next to Jumeirah (June 08) It is quite a long way about 30-45 min drive budget for about 100 durhams even more - Sorry i can't be more specific but our transport was included in the wild wadi package ps. you pay per trip not per person
