Q. like is one or two enough? I am thinking of buying a dress two sizes two big or a size too big so that it can be adjusted to exactly my size by a seamstress later?

A. The size of a fly fishing fly is, as you have noted, indicated by a number. The smaller the number, the LARGER the fly. Most trout dry flies run in sizes from 12 - 18, although midges can go down as small as 22 (a real eye-strainer when you are watching them float down stream). Streamers may run larger for trout, say a size 6 or 8 wooly bugger. Your best bet for selecting the right size is to find a book or website that has a hatch table. Most of those will give you the size of the fly that most closely approximates the size of the bugs in that hatch for a specific region during a specific time of the year. Are the serving sizes for uncooked pasta for a main dish or side dish?
Q. In traditional Italian cooking, pasta is often a side dish, but when I make it, I usually make it as main dish (the whole meal is pasta), so do the serving sizes on the containers imply it is a side dish or a main dish? Because they seem sort of small for a main dish.

A. MAIN DISH! It's based on calories and carbs...if you like a lot of pasta, make it all. If you don't, then make it as indicated. Personally, I cook up the whole box and only use what I want for that night's dinner, and then there's always more sauce leftover than noodles, so I have extra, etc.

How come my friends who are the same age/weight/height wear sizes 2-4 and I wear a size 8?
Q. I am 24 years old, 5 3 and weigh 122 pounds. I wear a size 8 pants in women s and size 9 in juniors. I have 4 friends between 22-25 that are around my height and weight that all wear sizes 2-4. A. Without seeing you and your friends it's hard to say. My guess is that its to do with shape more than size however. Could also be due to where you shop maybe and style of clothes? I tend to find I am different sizes in different shops and also in different styles. For example I take a bigger size in my smart, suit trousers than my jeans. The other option is that maybe your friends are wearing the wrong size clothes. Honestly though I think you would know if that was true, because they would look like their clothes were too small I think, even if they didn't realise it themselves. Most likely it is due to shape. A. Easy way to find out is go to a jeweler and ask to be "sized" by the male ring measurements. If they are all too big and you really like the ring, order it anyway and have your jeweler size it down. Frankly, I believe there is no difference as rings size is measured by finger circumference, not sex, but try the first option to be sure.

A. I worked in a bridal shop in college and our rule of thumb was always that you can take a dress down "2 sizes" without losing it's integrity. Buy it now in a size that fits you, (whatever you do, do NOT buy it in a smaller size.. sometimes you can loose a lot of weight, and not still not drop an entire size!). I found that usually gaining or losing 10lbs = 1 size, depending on the fit, and your body type.

How do raindrops come in so many different sizes?
Q. As far as I'm aware, raindrops (or precipitation I guess) fall when clouds condense enough. I guess at its most basic level, the clouds get too heavy to hold the vapour and at that point, they condense, turn to liquid water, and fall to the ground. If that's the case, why do they fall at different times for different lengths of time and come in different sizes?

It because the rain that falls through an atmosphere where there are lot of suspended particles which impede the motion of the rain drop and also there is the wind factor which affects the rain particles motion.. Also the atmospheric temperature is also responsible for the melting down of the rain droplets.. The rain formation is not a very simple condensation process and does not fall like a water from a bucket, rather it contains ice pellets which melt down the way to earth.. so the process is a very complex one and hence it is very unlikely that you can find two rains having the same pattern..

A. Best way is to get the seller (on eBay) to check the INSIDE measurement of the shoes you want and compare that measurement with a pair of shoes you currently own. Also measure your foot from your heel to your big toe. But still, there's no way to accurately know if you'll fit when buying shoes on eBay. I'm a (women's) size12 but I can sometimes comfortably fit into Target Brand size11 shoes. For example, On eBay, for Target size 11 shoes, I've seen the measurements ranging from 26cms to 30cms!

I am sorry but the person above me is wrong osmosis is the transfer of water molcules from high to low Now since A was placed in distilled water meaning just water with nothing added water travels into the egg which have a lower concentration of water molcules B was placed in water with salt. Based on the ammount of salt it is water travels out of the egg into the container of water. for C it could be either because we dont know the conceration of the water.

A. If by normal swimsuit, you mean bikini, then yes, they are different. What size you are depends on you measurements, mostly height, weight, and bust. Use this chart: and figure out your size depending on what brand you are looking at buying. Note that it should be tight, as the suit stretches in the water!

I wear a 0 and all the 0's I find are still to big in the leg! and most of them are like a foot to long! and the small shirts fit everywhere but the arms lol I have found aero clothes fit pretty good! but, they don't have a lot of dressy things so I still lose lol i dont think store order enough small and xxtra small clothing! thats prolly because most of our world is over weight!
