Nounskills
From Wiktionary under the GNU Free Documentation License. A skill (also called talent) is the learned capacity to carry out pre-determined results often with the minimum outlay of time, energy, or both. Skills can often be divided into domain-general and domain-specific skills. For example, in the domain of work, some general skills would include time management, teamwork and leadership, self motivation and others, whereas domain-specific skills would be useful only for a certain job. Skill usually requires a certain environmental stimuli and situation to assess the level of skill being shown and used. People need a broad range of skills in order to contribute to a modern economy and take their place in the technological society of the twenty-first century. The ASTD study showed that through technology, the workplace is changing, and so are the skills that employees must have to be able to change with it. The ASTD/DOL study identified 16 basic skills (Carnevale, 1990) that the workplace of the future would need in the employee of the future. From Wikipedia under the

What skills do I need to get past the defense? Asked by SCW - Sun Aug 9 23:58:19 2009 - - 4 Answers - 0 Comments A. If you have strong triceps, you'll be able to stiff-arm the hell out of people. (Tricpes are used for extension, biceps for pulling) You'll need good lateral quickness to get past LBs and DLs. Then you'll need breakaway speed to beat the DBs in the open field. You'll always need great vision to go along with these other qualities. Answered by Andrealphus - Mon Aug 10 00:19:54 2009 What's the difference between Soft Skills and Hard Skills?
