What Specific Policies That Either the Democrats or Republicans are Advocating Would Help the Economy?
Q. We all have our partsian political views, and a lot of answers on Yahoo and in debate and the media in general are based on simpistic biases and stupidity, and I would like to get above that. I have my own views, but I am curious on what general perception and thought are. What specific policies that the Democrats or Republicans are advocating do you think would help the economy? Please explain why and how such policies would improve the economy. No "Bush is dumb" or "Dems are Commies" answers please.

A. The only thing I've seen from the lot of them (and I haven't been paying much attention) is Fred Thompson's ideas about partly-privatizing social security, and I he also came out with a simplified tax structure, along with making permanent the Bush tax cuts. I like Huckabee, but on economic issues the guy turns into a regular 1890s populist, he'd be a disaster unless he surrounded himself with sensible advisors who've taken a basic economics class.

Hi, i was just wondering for a essay how have specific scenes in the movie Shakespear in love compared to the play Romeo and juliet created new meanings in modern audiences. i mean the general plot is the same but some of the scenes have been changed to suit modern audiences, which are scenes are these and how is it done. A. you need to realise that 'Shakespeare' is taking dialouge from all around him - what people say - and using it in the play. take a look at the balcony scene for example. or the scene in viola's bed - 'it was the lark'... often, the masculine and feminine roles are reversed. there are also some comic moments slotted into the story which only a modern audience would appreciate - the 'cabbie' styled boat-rower, Shakespeare's 'psychiatrist' or the Stratford-upon-Avon mug that Shakespeare has in his rooms.
