how do i clean a table that had a plastic table cloth and stuck to table when removed?

A. Mineral Spirits is cheap, and works great on removing adhesives! Goo-gone is good, unless you have a wood table. Goo-gone damages wood and some plastics. Also, do not use an abrasive cleaner if your table is wood.
