How long it takes to get refund of Social Security & Medicare tax witheld in error?
Q. How long it takes to get refund of Social Security & Medicare tax witheld in error? Someone told me that it takes 1 year to get it refunded. I don't think so.
Asked by vandana r - Mon Mar 26 15:05:18 2007 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments
A. If it's being refunded because you had two employers and your total income for the year was over the limit to have to pay, then you claim it on your 1040 when you file your taxes, and it comes back in a few weeks with your tax return. If you are getting the refund because your earnings weren't subject to social security and medicare withholding but it was taken out anyway by mistake, it would probably take at least a couple months.

How long it takes a pipevine swallowtail chrysalis to hatch?
Q. Does anyone know how long it takes a pipevine swallowtail chrysalis to hatch? Do they stay in throughout the winter? We have 20 chrysalises and weren't counting on long-term guests! Thanks in advance for any serious help. Thank you both very much. We started with 23 that we hatched from eggs (found on our Dutchman's pipe vine) and ended up with 20 successfully making the transition to chrysalis. Hopefully the groups we left outside to fend on their own are faring as well. We have seen many of them feeding, etc., but probably won't find the chrysalises until the leaves drop. Thank you both very much. We live in western Massachusetts and the swallowtail who layed these eggs is the first I ever saw here. We started with 23 that we hatched… [cont.]

A. OA is a very important person. You control everything. You probably will work long hours until you get a niche for the job and can do everything in time. Everyone looks to you for everything, really, everything. You play a huge role in the office and more than likely it might not function without you. Put your nose in everything, from supplies to reports to being sure everything is being cleaned properly. More than likely you will handle payroll and just about anything that happens in the office. My best advice is 'Start taking notes'. Know everyone's move and be prepared at all times for just about anything. You will be made to know everything and everyone will come to you. Never play favorites, even though you will have one. … [cont.]

What is a good camera that takes pictures and records?
Q. I am looking for a camera that takes good quality pictures and records. An example would be the Sony cyber-shot. That is what I'm using now, but it is on its last leg, and it uses a pro stick duo card, and I prefer SD cards, since I already have a bunch of those for my Nintendo Wii.

It also takes video as avi files, so its easier to put copy to dvd, if thats what you want to do. Most small cameras, use quicktime files, that you have to convert to avi, then put to dvd. All the reviews are good for the ricoh r7, and the ricoh r6 is much the same, just with one or 2 less features, and its cheaper. The price on the site below will have went down by this time, and you'll get good deals on the internet. A. I had an olympus point and shoot for a long time and it was 10 mega pixels, I was very happy with the Quality. I would suggest this camera, It is just over $100 anything cheaper would probably be asking much. I also suggest going into your local electronics store first and trying out cameras, they display them for that reason. See if you like the options and if it is the camera you want. Oh and also do not be afraid to snap a few shots to test the quality.

Q. I want a fairly good camera, under, say $500 that takes decent videos for a decent amount of time. Any suggestions? I have a video camera already. I want something that I can slip into a pocket and that I can take on horse treks.
