A. Couldn't find anything on the website, but why not email the question to dolero8@mail.evis.net.ph, which is listed as a contact for that regional office? They can likely point you in the right direction.

Why the Philippines has so much bad drivers?
Q. Why not implement, as a prerequisite for professional driving license application, that those who will make driving as their line of work must finish a 2-hours, 1-month driving course (safety, skills, proficiency, road ethics and basic trouble-shooting. I think TESDA could offer this to truly professionalise our 'professional drivers'.
Asked by Jun V - Thu Oct 1 02:19:59 2009 - - 7 Answers - 0 Comments

A. I tend to agree with jd, the drivers in the Philippines aren't necesarrily bad. They just have to drive that way in order to survive the streets of Manila & other major cities. And I know of many other major cities around the world with bad or even worse off drivers, unlicensed, suspended license, no formal training drivers, nearly blind, drunk drivers, high on something drivers, name it it's all over the world.

What will you do when someone criticises your school so badly?
Q. I am presently learning in a technical school and honestly, it's just a small institution. One day, I heard people saying that the school where I learning in is a fake school where in fact it is registered in TESDA, an agency here in philippines responsible for the school license. Some also say that the students of our school has no good future awaiting after them. I felt bad because as far as I've noticed, my school is giving a quality education and it's very promising. The school building has nothing to do with the best teachings of the instructors. I can't understand why people are underestimating my school even they don't have a single knowledge on how nice my school is.
Asked by ching - Tue Dec 4 05:15:42 2007 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments

A. Just ignore it, this might upset you, but it is not worth getting into a fight over it, it is not going to change their minds, and besides who cares what this people think? if you like this school then that is all that matters.

A. i'd recommend finishing your civil engineering degree. you are so close and don't want to throw away the past 3 years of hard work. plus, once you earn your degree its something you can always go back to should you change your mind. in terms of culinary school...i had a good friend go to culinary school because he too wanted to become a chef. however, he ended up spending a lot of money for the school and then in the end didn't end up becoming a chef. the reality of a chef's life is that you work very very hard and in a stressful environment making very little money. only a very small percentage make it to the point where they are famous and making a lot of money. this is not to discourage you from following your dreams, but i… [cont.]
