How to trace back to friend request history that I sent before?
Q. How to trace back to friend request history that I sent before? I've sent out many friend requests before, and I can't remember which one I've sent. I don't want to send it twice if someone have ignored my request before.

A. There is no specific way to track down all of them and view them in a list. You need to remember the users you've sent the friend request to. Just type in their names in the Search Box, and in the results, next to their display picture, you'll see a greyed-out "Friend Requested" text if they haven't accepted your request. That's the only way, you need to know whom you've requested to be your friend. (\_(\ (=' :') -- (,(")(") -Tho ' - - - - - - v -

A. Trace elements are things like vitamins and minerals that pet food companies add to commericial bird foods. To be sure your bird is getting what it needs, you need to provide it with fresh food (seed) every other day, ADD chopped veggies, like fresh Kale, broccoli tops,(cut off the little green tips), shredded carrot, sweet potato shreds, cuttle bone or mineral block, natural light is a definite must for ANY pet bird!.. Whole grain pieces of breads.. hard boiled egg yolk a couple of times a month (cooked for a minimum of 15 minutes to kill off any germs that are inside it) Spray MILLET is a REAL favorite but three inches of one spray is enough for a whole week! Birds require a minimum of 10 to 12 hours of complete darkness (nightlights… [cont.]

How can I trace my family tree on the Internet?

A. Ancestry.com is a great resource. It's not free, though. In order to get access to the most useful databases, you'll need to be a member. What level you want to pay for depends a lot on what you already know. A less complete website which, nevertheless, gives you access to family trees that may intersect with yours is onegreatfamily.com. That, too, requires a membership, I'm afraid. I've spent a lot of time researching my own family and have come to the wistful conclusion that, with genealogy on the web, we really do get what we pay for. All the best of luck to you.

People who do this state they go back a few years later after doing research and listen to the tape again and hear things they didn't hear the first time around. How do you trace or track down a radio signal?
Q. If i am in contact with a radio, how can I trace the location of the radio? Is there a way to geolocate a radio signal. I dont have any of the radios information, and am and will be unable to get any information regarding the equipment. However, I am in communications with that radio. How would I go about being able to find where the radio is located? Is there any sort of special equipment that I can use to geolocate it?
Asked by AP answers - Wed Feb 20 03:12:48 2008 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments
A. Using a directional antenna such as a loop or a beam antenna (Yagi or log periodic) rotate the antenna and note in what direction the signal peaks. If this is done from two positions (triangulation) then the transmitter is at the intersection of the two bearings as drawn on a chart.

A. Federal law strictly limits the information that online service providers like Yahoo! may disclose about their users. However, the email message itself contains some information relating to the sender's identity. In the headers of email messages sent via Yahoo! A. first you would need the ip adress of the computer and the time when it was connected. your internet service provider could then tell you from which address the computer was connected, but i doubt that they give out such information without specific reasons.

What should I trace my drawings with before I scan to have the lines be smooth and thin?
Q. Whenever I draw something and trace it with a Sharpie, after I scan it and look on the computer, it looks all gritty and uneven. But in a lot of other drawings that I see that were scanned the lines are all perfectly smooth and thin. What should I trace my drawings with to get that?

A. Smooth depends on how steady your hand is. Thin depends on the tool you use. In the old days, if an artist absolutely needed a perfectly smooth line, he'd use a tool, like a straight edge, or some French curves. Now, with digital tools available, a pro would use the bezier curve tools of some vector drawing application, such as those in Adobe Illustrator. In other words, learn to use the tools and save the scanning step. I recognize that you may not be in a position to spend the money or time on the tools. So, for you, your choices are to learn better how to draw freehand so that you don't HAVE to trace, or just get better at tracing. By the way, those other examples you've seen may NOT have been scanned. Or, if they were, they… [cont.]

A. Nothing beats the good, old school skip tracing methods. First of all, for any of this to be effective, you must have obtained the proper information from the skip, at the time the loan was originated. Things like former addresses, bank account info, personal references, especially parents or grandparents if available. Of all the information, nothing is as valuable as the personal references. If you can't talk to them by phone, drive to their homes and interview them in person. Send an empty envelope to the last good address, under your return address write "address service requested" this way if there is a forwarding on file, you will get the new address back on the envelope when it is returned. Go to their last know place of employment… [cont.]

Q. Just curious if anyone knew how long it takes to trace a 911 call, and no i do not plan on prank calling 911. So anyone with knowledge on this please let me know. Thanks. I'm sorry I don't think I made it clear in my questioning. I'm sure they know the number your dialing from in seconds. However If im say in a basement somewhere and I can't talk. How long before they know where im at. Sorry for the confusion. Thanks!

A. Most cities and states (except for real rural areas) have a system called E 911 (enhanced 911). It's very similar to caller id, but in addition to the phone number, the address and the property owner's name also appear immediately on the computer screen (as the phone is ringing or even a half second before). If you live in an area that does not yet have E911, then a police trace could be done. The preliminary trace can give results in as little as 3 minutes up to about 20 minutes.

How to trace a phone callers physical address?
Q. Is there a device that I can use to trace where a call is coming from? With the use of cell phones a call can be made from anywhere and the area code does not necessarily reflect where the caller physically is. I don't need an exact address, just city or state.

A. It is not just you, the other phone needs to agree to send you the data as well. For example, 911 calls with GPS send that info, so the police knows where you are when you call.

A. You'd think with all the new technology phones come out with they'd be able to track phones! Unfortunately, no, you will not be able to trace it most likely because the thieves have already pulled your SIM card out and possibly sold it to someone else. The SIM card is the key to it all. Do rest assure know that your phone is locked and that whoever stole it won't be able to use any service provider unless they start a contract with Tmobile and usually the thieves are too ghetto to get service. Like I said, your phone is gone. At least you reported it to Tmobile and all they can do is shut off the service to prevent calls made from your phone. BTW, if you ask them, they can give you the activity log from the time you lost the phone. I… [cont.]

I… [cont.]

How far back can you trace your dogs pedigree?
Q. How far back in years can you trace your dogs pedigree? I have traced most of mine back to the 1800's. I had posted a link to my one male's pedigree on a reply to another question, but someone did not like it for some reason!! LOL Pedigrees are very important when it comes to genetics and breeding.

A. I have had some of the same bloodlines since the 50s, so tracing them back 100 years is pretty simple.

A. You can't, because MAC addresses are not used over the Internet. They're only used inside Ethernet networks.

I understand there is a test available that will trace you back to your roots. How do I get it ?
Q. Can I do the required test done without moving out of Chennai India ? How expensive is this ? How reliable is it ? Can I trace back my ancestory to 10 generations atleast ? What is the DNA test all about which is connected to this ? How many have done this test ? Is there anthropological correlation ? Is it only for males or for females too ? Is it possible to know a heridiatary disease suffered by the previous genrations that may reoccur ? How does the lab which does this sustain itself ? What is the benefit to the scientific community which is invloved in this kind of work ? Have I asked enough questions ?
