Is there an easy way to fix twister rod on horizontal blinds?
Q. I have three sets of horizontal blinds (think faux wood, as opposed to smaller metal), on which the twister rods no longer twist the blinds open and shut. Any simple ways to fix this problem? They are all the same brand (in the house when we moved in), so unfortunately--probably a cheap brand, but I am still hopeful there is a solution other than replacing the blinds.

A. Probably not. A plastic gear turns a metal rod with slots cut into it to open and shut the blinds. The teeth on the plastic gear are probably worn. There's no way to replace it.
