A. the Battle of the Bulge was a major German offensive launched towards the end of World War II through the forested Ardennes Mountains region of Belgium, France, and Luxembourg on the Western Front. the bulge was the initial incursion the Germans put into the Allies line of advance, as seen in maps presented in contemporary newspapers. the German offensive was supported by subordinate operations known as Unternehmen Bodenplatte, Unternehmen Greif, and Unternehmen Waehrung. What exactly did the confederates and union stand for?
Q. In the civil war what exactly did the confederates stand for, and what did the union stand for? I know confederates were south, and fighting for slavery. I know union was north, and fighting against slavery. But that's all I know. What exactly did each group stand for? What were their views exactly? I tried searching this on my own, but all it talks about are what the flags mean today. Any help would be great. Thanks.

A. Without the issue of slavery there probably would never have been a war. The issue had not been addressed at the time of the Constitution. But neither side made slavery the stated cause of their going to war, at least at the start. The north started out in Lincoln's words, "to preserve the Union". After a year and a half of war Lincoln made a shrewd move politically, and issued the Emancipation Proclamation. This "freed" only those slaves in areas under Confederate control - the slaves in the border states which had not seceded had to wait until the Constitution was amended in late 1865, after the war was over. A. credit union vehicle finanacing...requires you apply for a vehicle loan and bank will ask numeros pertinent questions and pull credit report...they will ask amount and how long you want to borrow as well as factor in if you decide to put down payment...you credit will factor in on the actual interest rate et cetera...good luck...recently recvd a loan for 4% as opposed to a 7.99% from dealership (credit rating affect). call around/shop around and get it set up before purchasing so you know budget.
