There are FOUR forms of you in spanish. They are tu, which is used to address someone who is your equal or your inferior. Someone you are familiar with. Vosotros/as, which is used to address a group of people whom you would address individually as tu. If there is ONE person in a group who would be an Ud., you address the group as Uds. Ud., which is used to address anyone who is your superior, socially or in age...a doctor, anyone you address as Mr. or Mrs., with any title, a teacher, your boss, etc. Ud., which is used to address any group of people who include any one who is an Ud. You only use Vosotros/as in Spain and a couple of small pockets in Latin America.
