Who thinks that we missed out on a straight fight between Webber and Vettel?
Q. After the second pit stops (Vettel's third) Red bull told the drivers to turn down their engines and finish, but who here thinks that they should have been allowed to race? It would be two driver on the same fuel load with the same car, I think that we missed out.

A. Most people have answered your question in relation to Sundays race but the question that you asked was based on level terms, I am confident that Vetel would win in a straight race. With the rule in place banning team orders, Red Bull used the excuse that they had to preserve the engine for the next races, to stop Vetel from trying to get past Webber, the result is the same as team orders, just a cheating way of getting round the rule, if that had been a car other than a Red Bull, he would not have been told to turn it down but to try to pass, so, in my opinion they broke the rules, this was using team orders.

Why was Sebastian Vettel behaving like a dork during the press conference?
Q. Well I was a little amused when I saw him licking his upper lip with his tongue for quite a while when he was pouring juice into his cup...guess he was really too thirsty after talking so much! Isn't it good anyway? We see either stoic drivers,or some that are simply bored out with the same questions being asked every press conf...to see Seb explaining a little more of his views and not appearing bored will not make me bored too! Do you think Vettel will become the best F1 driver in history?
Q. He looks like he can become better then Schumacher or Senna.
Asked by You Know! - Sun Jun 21 14:24:55 2009 - - 7 Answers - 0 Comments
A. If he doesn't it won't be through lack of driving talent. It requires the sort of killer instinct and determination I've yet to see in him, plus it's very much a question of managing your career the right way. Schumacher had the whole package, pure driving talents, cool head, right people around him, total commitment, ruthlessness. It's not just talent. In any case, what he did, to dominate two races in the wet from start to finish, being the only driver on te track to never put a wheel wrong and with so little experience at this level is something I have never seen before. He made everyone look like an also run, the term "everyone" including drivers of the caliber of Alonso, Hamilton and Raikonen.

A. It was a big mistake by Hamilton to underestimate Vettel and give him the room to pass and he almost paid for it but Vettel proved that he can handle his car on the wet-dry conditions twice this year something that Hamilton & Massa couldn't do before this year. And Vettel wasn't very aggressive, it was Hamilton who was overcareful that he cleared the way for Kubica totally. Thank you Vettel for being a true racer fighting for every point even if it won't change much for you and I hope we see you in Ferrari soon.

How did Vettel overtake Hamilton ?
Q. I thought it was just Kubica who made Hamilton run wide slightly, but Hamilton said after the race that his car had no downforce. I think it was a combination of the two - Clearly if you watch it again you will see Hamilton's front end twitch as he struggles for grip. Hamilton's car was vulnerable enough that all it took was a little bit of interference from another driver to make him run wide. Vettel took full advantage.
Asked by Steve - Tue Nov 4 13:32:33 2008 - - 9 Answers - 0 Comments
A. Hamilton's car was setup for low downforce which meant he would have problems in the rain. However, Kubica definitely did not make it easy for Hamilton as he un-lapped himself

What do you think of F1 drive, Sebastian Vettel?
Q. Do you think he could achieve the same sort of achievements that Micheal Schumacher did?
Asked by Love, Peace, Harmony....XOXO - Wed Apr 22 17:50:14 2009 - - 9 Answers - 0 Comments
A. Sebastian Vettel is the youngest driver to score a point(USA 2007 when he stepped into the place of Kubica) and is the youngest driver to win a race(Monza 2008). If Red Bull improves this then he may even become the youngest formula 1 world champion. Vettel is an excellent driver in the wet conditions, better than Hamilton and Schumacher. He has shown that he can do well even with a car that lacks pace. He scored 35 points last year. With all this, if Vettel gets into the right team and makes right decisions he can surely achieve the same or even more than Schumacher.

A. in my opinion Kubica should have been more patient - he was guaranteed to get at least 8 points if he waited for the perfect oppotunity as he was much faster - instead he lost it all just going for 2 more points. Ferrari and McLaren both disappointing - Lewis was a bit lucky to get on the podium - a very scrapy race with so much close racing. Stella race by Jenson but Rubens was a bit lucky to get 2nd but i suppose he was in the right place in the right time. bad luck for Webber as always and Toyota (Trulli in particular - getting no points due to stewards decision). Pity Rosberg's pit stop let him down as well his tyres at the end; i was hoping he could get on the podium. =(

A. Vettel should be celebrated, not condemned. Reason being is this. I'm an F1 fan. Not a Ferrari Fan, or a Massa/Kimi fan or a Mclaren/Hamilton fan. World titles are not given to you on a plate. You must earn it and the season doesn't end until you pass that flag on the last lap of the race. Vettel wants to win the WDC as well and he has every right.to overtake the leader in the championship as much as Hamilton did to overtake Glock. Vettel is trying to make a name for himself and has certainly caught a lot of peoples attention. Surely Hamilton should have had sympathy for Glock as he was struggling so much and come in behind him? No? My point exactly, he had to pass Glock to win that vital extra point. That's why it's called racing,… [cont.]
